Fall training for girls in the 4th thru 12th grades
OVERVIEW: Lumberjills is for girls who want to train on Sunday’s and get an edge on their competition. The academy is six weeks of training with excellent coaching designed to improve individual and team skills. Each meeting is 90 minutes, the first half includes quality instruction and skill development; the second half is the chance to sharpen those skills in lacrosse games against players in your division. The academy is appropriate for the beginner as well as the experienced player. Girls are grouped by age and then again by experience. There will be an advanced division for all age groups.
2011 Dates: Six Sundays starting Sunday, September 11 thru Sunday, October 23rd; we are off on Columbus day weekend.
2011 Time & Location:
GOLD 4-6th grade girls from 4:30 to 6:00 PM @ Elon Park
PURPLE 7-12th grade girls from 5:30 to 7:00 PM @ Elon Park
THE GIRLS STAFF: Lumberjills is under the direction of the StickWithUs woman’s director Jamie Collins. Coach Collins is joined by Charlotte area high school & college coaches as well as local college players.
ACADEMY REGISTRATION FEE: The academy fee per player is $245. The fee includes five dates of expert instruction, Lumberjills reversible, and a Lumberjills t-shirt. Registration deadline is Friday, September 2, 2011. Use the menu on your left to register.

Due to the anticipated number of students wishing to participate, registrations will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. While we will make every attempt to re-schedule dates that are canceled due to severe weather, we can not guarantee that they will all be re-scheduled. Kindly note that all the information above is accurate at the time of posting to the web site, and that all the information contained is subject to change based on final registration numbers, field contracts, and a number of other unforeseen factors that impact the administration of lacrosse leagues and programs in the Charlotte area
WATER. Water is not provided at the fields and every player is responsible to bring enough water or Gatorades to hydrate during the academy.
CANCELLATION & CHANGES. All cancellations and changes to the schedule (due to severe weather) will be posted on www.StickWithUs.org . The site will be updated 45 minutes before your scheduled start time. Please get in the habit of checking the site before you depart for the field.
